nightclubs
private members' clubs
staff smoking rooms
indoor smoking areas

Where you can smoke:
Outdoors
In your own home
Prisons
Care homes
Hotels

Definition of enclosed and substantially enclosed:

Many people had strong views about this, for example:

Ashleigh Mayhue from Haverhill said,
"The smoking ban is good because now we won't feel like we should have to smoke when entering a public place, this reduces the risk of us getting cancer. Another thing is even though we have a number of groups walking around Haverhill at the moment, more groups will form just for people who wan't to go out for a drink. I also think that the smoking ban is going to cause pub owners to lose out on profit, I can't see myself having a pint without a fag."

The person would like to stay anonymous from Haverhill said,
"I think the smoking ban is going to cause alot more trouble than it is worth, so many people are against this smoking ban but no one got a say in it, if we could decide ourselves then the smoking ban wouldn't exist."
